Google Drive is one of the best features that Google itself has to offer. There are so many things that Google Drive can do, it was only a matter of time before you managed to come up with something as great as the Google Forms. Forms is one of the newest additions to the things that are available on Google Drive, along with Google Drawings. But the fact that the Google Forms are available is something very important, since Forms can be used to do so many different things, including allowing customers to input their data and even taking submissions for presentations for a special occasion. So here is a quick guide on using Google Forms.
Creating a Form
The first thing that you need to do in order to use Google Forms is to actually create a form. Google makes this as easy as they possibly can, since all you have to do is enter the questions that you want to ask and how you would like the answers to be input and Forms will build the entire form for you from there. So be sure that you know what exactly you want to do with your form before you go about setting it up, so you do not waste time trying to come up with questions and all of the information you will need when you are trying to put the whole thing together on the spot.
Making it Look Good
Google actually offers you a lot of different ways to make your form look great, with plenty of different layouts that you can choose from. All you have to do is browse through the different options and pick the one that suits your form the best. If you find that you are not particularly fond of any of the choices you are presented with, you can go ahead and make up your own background colors and layout to make it look spiffy and completely unique to you and your form. There are plenty of options to customize your form and not matter what you choose to do with it, it will look nice. That is just how good Google is about making their forms look great.
Sending it Out
When you finish up your form, all you have to do is click a button in order to grab a link to the form itself. You can either paste that link somewhere that anyone can get to in order to submit a filled out form to you, or you can choose to have it directly emailed to the people that you specifically want to fill the form out. It is completely your choice how you want to get your form out to the people in order to get submissions back. Just make sure that you let the form go live, otherwise you will not be able to receive any responses at all.
Checking Your Results
When your form goes live, Google Drive will automatically generate a new Sheets in order to keep track of all of the information that people submit using your form. Then, you can check all of the results regularly using that Sheet because it will be automatically updated every time someone else submits their form. Google has seriously gone out of their way to make using Forms a very simple task, and the fact that you can so easily check all of your results is just another great reason to be using Forms for all of your form needs. Plus, if you are ever confused about anything involving Forms, all you have to do is ask Google for help, which is readily available at any time of the day.
